MY RESEARCH
I am a senior member of IEEE and have co-chaired several international conferences. My current research focuses are:
Software testing
Software reliability
Software design and architecture
Experimental software engineering
Network reliability and security
PROJECTS
I'm currently working on exVantage, a tool suite for program testing, analysis and debugging. The project aims to improve software quality with reduced cost by removing defects at earlier stages of software development. Our technologies include effective instrumentation, code coverage criteria selection, dominator analysis, program slicing and automatic test generation.
PUBLICATIONS
Over the last few years, I've authored over fifty technical papers on the subjects of software engineering and network reliability. These papers were featured at international journals, such as SPE, JSS and JCN. I'm currently working on two conference papers, one dealing with the subject of "An Integrated Solution for Testing and Analyzing Java Applications" and the other on "Prioritize Code for Testing to Improve Code Coverage". I am also working on a journal paper entitled "Code-Coverage Guided Prioritized Test Generation". I expect all three papers to be published by the end of 2005.
